Golden State Warriors head coach Steve Kerr faced intense criticism from NBA fans on social media following his team’s 115-106 loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Monday night.

The Warriors, who were without star point guard Stephen Curry due to knee injury management, struggled to contain the Cavaliers’ offense, particularly Donovan Mitchell, who scored 29 points.

Kerr’s decision-making and coaching strategy were questioned by many fans, who took to Twitter to express their frustration. Some fans criticized Kerr’s rotation, while others felt that he didn’t make the necessary adjustments to counter the Cavaliers’ offense.

“Steve Kerr got outcoached again,” tweeted @WarriorsNation. “His rotations are so predictable and he refuses to make adjustments.”

“Kerr’s inability to adapt is staggering,” added @GSWFan4Life. “He’s been outcoached by every decent coach in the league this season.”

Kerr, who is widely regarded as one of the best coaches in the NBA, has faced criticism before, but this latest backlash is particularly intense. The Warriors, who have won four NBA championships since 2015, are struggling to find consistency this season, and fans are growing impatient.

Despite the criticism, Kerr remains confident in his team’s ability to turn things around. “We’re going to keep working, keep grinding, and we’ll get out of this funk,” he said in his post-game press conference.

The Warriors will look to bounce back from their loss when they face the Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night. Kerr will undoubtedly be under intense scrutiny, but he remains focused on getting his team back on track.

“We’re not going to make any excuses,” Kerr said. “We’re going to keep working and try to get better every day.”

As for the social media backlash, Kerr is unlikely to pay much attention to it. “I don’t really pay attention to social media,” he said. “I’m focused on coaching my team and trying to win games.”
