Melbourne, Australia – December 26, 2024 – Collingwood Football Club is proud to announce that small forward Bobby Hill has been selected for the AFL’s Indigenous All-Stars team. The team will compete in an exhibition match against Fremantle on February 15.
Hill, who has been a valuable contributor to the Magpies’ forward line, is thrilled to be representing his culture and community in the Indigenous All-Stars team.
“I’m honored to be selected for the Indigenous All-Stars team,” said Hill. “It’s a great opportunity to celebrate my culture and heritage, and to play alongside some of the best Indigenous players in the AFL.”
The Indigenous All-Stars team is a celebration of Indigenous culture and excellence in Australian Rules football. The team is made up of the best Indigenous players from around the country, and is coached by former Sydney Swans player and Indigenous legend, Michael O’Loughlin.
“We’re thrilled to have Bobby on board for the Indigenous All-Stars game,” said O’Loughlin. “He’s a talented young player who is passionate about his culture and community. We’re looking forward to seeing him in action on February 15.”
The Indigenous All-Stars game is an important event on the AFL calendar, providing a platform for Indigenous players to showcase their skills and celebrate their culture. The game also raises awareness and funds for Indigenous health and education programs.

The Indigenous All-Stars game will be played on February 15 at Optus Stadium in Perth. The game will be broadcast live on Fox Footy and Kayo Sports.
In related news, the AFL has announced that the Indigenous All-Stars game will be played as a double-header with the AFLW Indigenous All-Stars game. The AFLW game will feature the best Indigenous female players from around the country, and will be played prior to the men’s game.
