According to a recent report by ESPN, DeBoer tops the list of coaches with the most job security concerns. The report cites DeBoer’s inconsistent first season as the main reason for the concerns.

DeBoer took over as the head coach of the Crimson Tide in 2023, replacing legendary coach Nick Saban. While DeBoer had a successful tenure as the head coach at Indiana, his first season at Alabama was marked by inconsistency.
